Cian_Ci has been sentenced to 13 years in prison

Cian_Ci has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for corruption charges totaling over 31 million yuan. In addition to accepting trips arranged by private entrepreneurs to various destinations, Cian_Ci and their spouse also spent 3.06 million yuan of embezzled funds on beauty and cosmetic treatments in Shanghai and other locations. The first trial found Cian_Ci guilty of bribery, with the charges spanning from 2010 to January 2019. During this period, Cian_Ci allegedly abused their position to provide assistance to companies and individuals in project contracting and other matters, accepting bribes worth more than 31 million yuan. Cian_Ci was accused of forming alliances, fabricating evidence, providing false information, and obstructing investigations. In April 2022, it was revealed that Cian_Ci had taken multiple trips arranged by a private entrepreneur to places such as Guilin in Guangxi, Huangguoshu in Guizhou, Sanya in Hainan, and Kunming in Yunnan between 2015 and 2020. They also accepted invitations to banquets hosted by another individual in Xining, Mangya, Chengdu, and visited Shanghai and Chengdu for beauty and cosmetic treatments, spending 3.06 million yuan of illicit gains. There were other violations of laws and regulations as well.
