A background of myself: I started off learning the flute at the age of 15 and acquired a distinction in ABRSM grade 5 the year after. I am now pursuing a diploma in Music Performance in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). I have played and perform in school bands, Wind Band association of singapore’s Band Festival, community wind orchestras, NAFA Orchestra and have taken part in

OMM-SOTA’s Orchestra camp. I have studied with teachers such as Shirley Tong, Roberto Alvarez (SSO) and also attended masterclasses by various flute teachers from the UK and Geramany, most recognisably Michael Cox (UK), Ashley Solomons(UK) and Thomas Von Ludinghausen (DE)

As a flautist, I have worked through the many problems beginners have faced and therefore have the troubleshooting skills to guide a developing flautist. The materials I use in my classes covers techniques for fundamentals such as technical books such as Marcel Moyse’s daily exercises, Taffanel et Gaubert, and other books that flute beginners may not have come across.

My rates are $60/hr including travelling fees!
