Job Description
You will be responsible for overseeing, managing and evolving all aspects related to software services and management. This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the position is part of the senior management team with some general responsibilities for the company’s overall strategy and work planning; and active participation in the senior management team meetings.
A day in the life:
Develop a new digital strategy, aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage all existing systems and lead the development of new projects from inception through to delivery into a production environment, and to manage all IT capabilities.
Develop and refine critical IT systems , project management, Financial management and web platforms, mobile application and integrate them seamlessly to conform to the new digital universe.
Work closely with staff, especially managers, to assess the needs of users within the context of their business environment.
Prepares periodic reports, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Build, develop and manage the IT & Digital team to achieve deliverables and objectives
What you need:
Degree in Information Technology or related fields
Relevant project management qualification will be an added advantage
At least 7 years of experience in a relevant industry
Experience in building and managing a team with skillset that includes but not limited to:
o Hardware, operating systems, software and application development
o Managing local networks in Windows environments
o Supervising outsourced IT projects
o Full project lifecycle
o Systems roll out / implementation
o Platform integration and API;
o Database concepts
o IP management
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Good organizational and time management skills
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Good communications and presentation skills
